Primitive challenge with a few simple basic tools.
I bring along a snowshoe hare that I snared using simple metal wire.
I’ll show you how to catch a fish using just a tree branch!
I’ll teach you to cook a fish over a fire without a frying pan!
Can we stay warm and comfortable? Can we catch enough food to keep our energy levels up using just line and a hook?
We use a saw and basic tools to make a bushcrafter shelter in the a Northern Canadian forest using materials around us like conifer bows and cedar.
I attempt a friction fire using primitive technology – a cedar spindle, hearth board, and some birch bark and cedar shavings for a tinder bundle. Can I get a fire lite in tough winter conditions?
Can you eat snow? Find out! Will I be able to keep my wife warm and avoid frost bite?
How do you catch a fish with just line and a tree?
My bushcraft knife is by Grohmann knives!
